"1. PSES shall be permitted in the Township, provided that a person desiring to construct and use PSES shall first obtain a permit from the Township and pay its applicable administrative fee for issuance of the same, which fee may be established by the Township by Resolution and amended thereafter by subsequent Resolution as determined necessary by the Board of Supervisors, unless such PSES are exempt herefrom as more fully set forth in Section 3, Paragraph 2.a. below. 2. Exemptions a. PSES constructed (received all required construction permits) prior to the effective date of this Ordinance or which was constructed to cover a quarter (0.25) of any acre or less shall not be requried [sic] to meet the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. Any physical modification to an existing PSES, whether or not existing prior to the effective date of this Ordinance that materially alters the PSES shall require approval under this Ordinance. Routine mainenance [sic] or like-kind replacements do not require a permit."
